Over the June 10, 11 & 12 long weekend
with Suzi Chin Silicz at Redfern Yoga Space
Saturday, Sunday 2.00 – 4.30 PM and Monday 9.00 – 11.30 AM
This special intensive is an opportunity to delve into the nuances of a yoga practice and the ‘categories’ of asana.
On the first day we look at foundation work and it’s importance not only for those starting yoga but how it is key to the longevity of yoga practice. Then exploring how to put the alignment of poses into movement in a concise and steady way.
Second intensive day will be all about bringing balance and grounding into the body, how that affects the thinking mind and our emotional life. We will get into working the spine from anchors and foundations, with an emphasis on how to lead into and out of a range of back-bending movements to nourish the nervous system.
The third day we move towards inversions followed by a restorative practice including pranayama breath work.
